Statement from President Donald J. Trump
This is a great day for America. People with extraordinary ability and everything else necessary for success, including future greatness for our country, are finally being rewarded. This is the ruling everyone was waiting and hoping for and the result was amazing. It will also keep us competitive with the rest of the world. Our greatest minds must be cherished and that’s what this wonderful day has brought. We’re going back to all merit-based—and that’s the way it should be!
Supreme Court Delivers Landmark Ruling Striking Down Affirmative Action, Racial Quotas and Goals in College Admissions
In a landmark court ruling released today, the U.S. Supreme Court effectively ended the use of affirmative action in college admissions. 237-page Ruling
- By a vote of 6-3 (UNC) and 6-2 (Harvard), the court ruled the admissions programs used by the University of North Carolina and Harvard College violate the Constitution’s equal protection clause barring racial discrimination by government entities.
- The case was presented by Asian Americans who claimed to experience discrimination in the college application process
- Democrats immediately took to social media to protest the ruling, including President Obama
- Affirmative Action is a form of racism that allows universities to judge applicants based on their race or ethnic background
- Historically, the Democrat Party has been the primary proponent of systemic racism in America, so many view this as a victory.
The affirmative action ruling is a huge deal. We can finally have a conversation about the racist product of affirmative action and its unfair practices in college admissions purely to enrich liberal diversity programs. Chief Justice John Roberts explained that college admissions programs could consider race merely to allow an applicant to explain how their race influenced their character in a way that would have a concrete effect on the university. But a student “must be treated based on his or her experiences as an individual, not on the basis of race.” The majority effectively, though not explicitly, overruled its 2003 decision in Grutter v. Bollinger, in which the court upheld the University of Michigan Law School’s consideration of race “as one factor among many, in an effort to assemble a student body that is diverse in ways broader than race.”

Another significant ruling right before we celebrate Independence Day! The Affirmative Action ruling is not only HUGE but timely. On the surface, it makes sense for the Supreme Court to issue the ruling before their summer recess, but what if it is more?
Remember last June, when Trump supporters were feeling less, well supportive, and then BOOM: Roe v. Wade came down right before Independence Day, giving the American people a needed boost.
After two Trump indictments and a WHOLE lot more, we get another big win right before the 4th. Something’s up….stay afloat as this is a long process but we will win!
U.S. Rep. Dan Meuser, R-Dallas ( 9th Congressional District) has endorsed President Trump for the 2024 Presidential race and will serve as part of Trump’s Pennsylvania Leadership Team for the upcoming campaign. Meuser penned an Op-Ed piece, entitled “We Need a Course Correction in 2024” detailing Biden’s failures after President Trump’s historic achievements for our country:
“The past two and a half years under the Biden Administration have been damaging to our nation’s national security, economic strength and public safety.
Since the Biden Administration took office, they had the U.S. give up in Afghanistan, which caused the loss of American lives and resulted in leaving behind $80 billion in American military equipment that is now being used by the Taliban. This disgraceful episode in American history sent a message to every potential adversary in the world, including China, that the Biden Administration has no interest in maintaining the United States’ status as a world-power – and in so doing, a vacuum of leadership was created.
The Biden Administration has caused a disaster at our southern border. On a daily basis, death, rape and violence take place. The cartels get very rich on illegal drugs and human trafficking. Much of Mexico has become a gangland due to the Biden border policies.
The U.S. economy has been rattled by extremely excessive spending and assault measures taken on the American energy industry have resulted in the highest level of inflation in 40 years. Our economy in turn has experienced interest rate hikes more rapidly than ever before.
American people and small businesses are under heightened threat from the crime on our city streets. And the scandals that continue to mount from the Biden White House are stunningly egregious. Equally astonishing is the highly irregular and dubious actions of the Biden DOJ, FBI, IRS and SEC – instilling concern and fear in the hearts of our citizens. And remarkably, the Biden campaign slogan for 2024 is “Let’s Finish the Job.”
Our country cannot withstand four more years of a Biden Administration. We must correct course. I’ve had countless ambassadors and foreign ministers tell me directly that the world needs the U.S. to lead, to be strong, and yes, to correct course. And, more importantly, as the representative of Pennsylvania’s Ninth Congressional District, the vast majority of Pennsylvanians voice this consistently.
There is a better way. We can be there again in a three- to four-year period with the right leadership. In 2019, the world was at peace, a favorable trade agreement was just signed with China, and Russia was kept in check. The Abraham Accords were signed, which was the most comprehensive peace treaty ever in the Middle East. ISIS was wiped out, our military was strong and proud, and the Space Force was created – an absolutely essential new branch of our national defense.
The southern border was orderly and secure. The U.S. was not only energy independent but energy dominant. Gasoline was $2.38 a gallon. Inflation was a non-factor. Interest rates were 2.9%. Wages were up and taxes were down. There was a renewed sense of patriotism, which most Americans find very inspiring. We can get there again. This is why the only four-year solution in 2024 to making America as great as it needs to be is by electing Donald J. Trump. Former President Trump has proven his policies, plans and ability to execute work for the vast majority if not all Americans. President Trump has no special interests influencing him. His only special interest is the USA. President Trump realizes, as Reagan did, that a strong America is essential to the well-being of the entire free world.”

Trump Considering Alternate Programming to First RNC Debate;
Breitbart reports that President Donald Trump is reportedly considering offering an alternate event to the first Republican National Committee (RNC) debate, which is scheduled to take place August 23, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. President Trump has yet to say if he will participate in the RNC-sanctioned debates, expressing disappointment back in April as possible details of the RNC’s future plans began to surface.
“When you’re leading by seemingly insurmountable numbers, and you have hostile Networks with angry, TRUMP & MAGA hating anchors asking the ‘questions,’ why subject yourself to being libeled and abused?” Trump posted. “Also, the Second Debate is being held at the Reagan Library, the Chairman of which is, amazingly, Fred Ryan, Publisher of The Washington Post. NO!” he added.
I concur. Not too many people are going to tune into a debate that doesn’t feature Donald Trump.
