@RonDeSantisFL
The media can’t help themselves – everything must be politicized. No opportunity to smear opponents is too low. This reporter misrepresented FEMA Director’s words.
Gov. DeSantis won’t accept it. He’ll always stand up for Florida & our world-class emergency response professionals.
Dear Trump Club!
Although Ian isn’t as powerful as when it slammed ashore with 150 mph winds on Wednesday afternoon, flooding rains continue across central and northern Florida as Ian is expected to move into the Atlantic on Thursday. The storm is causing catastrophic flooding over east-central Florida and is forecast to produce life-threatening flooding, storm surge and gusty winds across portions of Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas.
A Hurricane Watch is in effect for coastal Flagler, St. Johns, Duval, Nassau & coastal Camden and Glynn counties.
Tropical Storm Watches are in effect for Inland Nassau, Baker, Union, Bradford and Alachua counties.
A Storm Surge Warning remains in effect for the St. Johns River and the Flagler/Volusia county line to the mouth of the St. Marys River, including Nassau, Duval, St. Johns, Flagler, Clay and Putnam counties.
More than 2.59 million Florida homes and businesses were without electricity, according to PowerOutage.us.
Governor DeSantis slammed a reporter Tuesday afternoon for seemingly trying to politicize the hurricane that was anticipated to hit Florida. The question from the reporter came after the White House dodged questions about why President Joe Biden had not called DeSantis, despite having called multiple mayors in cities such as Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Clearlake.
“FEMA Administrator [Deanne] Criswell said today that she acknowledged concerns that Florida [inaudible] lacks response to the storm so far and that–” the reporter began.
“Whoa, whoa, whoa. Give me a break,” DeSantis fired back. “That is nonsense. Stop politicizing, okay? Stop it. We declared a state of emergency when this thing wasn’t even formed.”
Thank you, Gov. DeSantis….you are doing a great job!!
Stay safe, Florida!
As we press forward, know that with God, all things are possible and the journey to the kingdom is an inward one. Each must travel their own course and use their own God-given talents and skills to the best of their ability to serve the Lord in their earthly purpose.
Remain vigilant and let’s work together for our America First agenda and Gov. DeSantis!
We will work together to bring unity back to our Republican Party by working with the REC!
God Bless,

In a little noted trend, law enforcement agencies at every level of government are increasingly buying data from private, third-party data brokers on Americans’ phone and internet activities in order to track them, often without a warrant.

The Biden administration’s negotiations with Iran over a revamped version of the 2015 nuclear deal have hit a dead end, jeopardizing the likelihood of a new agreement, senior U.S. officials informed Congress during a classified briefing.
A deal seemed within reach earlier this month as U.S. officials presented Iran with a proposal that would significantly unwind economic sanctions and provide the regime with somewhere near one trillion dollars over the lifetime of the agreement. Iran, however, balked and negotiations are at a standstill, according to Rep. Darrell Issa (R., Calif.), who participated in the closed-door briefing held two weeks ago for members of the House Foreign Affairs Committee. READ MORE

VOTE FOR MARTHA GLEASON FOR MOSQUITO CONTROL COMMISSIONER
Why I am running for Anastasia Mosquito Control District (AMCD) Commissioner
You, the taxpayer, deserve a mosquito control board who utilizes taxpayer dollars in a prudent and fiscally responsible manner. In utilizing your taxpayer dollars, you should expect these dollars to be focused on monitoring and controlling the mosquito population by the safest methods possible. As a businesswoman, I understand fiscal responsibility. As a former healthcare researcher, I understand science and the importance of mosquito control and monitoring. I am here to serve the community that I, myself reside in and I am here to help hold board members who fail to act in the best interest of the St. Johns’ county citizens accountable.
When you elect me…
I will ensure that AMCD is focused on why it was chartered in the first place – to control and monitor for the spread of mosquito-borne diseases. I want to ensure proper funding for the district while ensuring no wasteful spending or expansion beyond the district’s charter. By focusing on exploring new funding models, AMCD can help to offset capital outlay costs and operational costs that will help to meet the needs to provide additional services to residents as the county grows, while also keeping the taxes low.
Upon being elected, I plan to work with my colleagues, St. Johns County citizens, the AMCD Administration, County Government Officials, and the State to ensure that the district’s 5-year Strategic Growth Plan anticipates services needed to meet the County’s growing population and community/business development needs.
I will also propose a citizen advisory committee to ensure that citizens have a seat at the table when key funding decisions are being made as no government agency should be utilizing taxpayer dollars without transparency and the consent of its citizens.
In short, as your AMCD commissioner, the following will be my priorities:
· Ensure Fiscally Responsibility As a special district, AMCD’s Board of Commissioners is to be fiscally responsible and committed to being good stewards of taxpayer dollars through responsible and lean budget decision-marking. AMCD should be spending less on general and administrative expenses than do their counterparts, cities and counties.
· Ensure Accountability: The AMCD Board of Commissioners are elected by voters in St. Johns County. Therefore, I will fight to ensure that the best interests of St. Johns citizens are served by the district.
